HIGH POINT YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ANNUAL SUMMIT RETURNS

HIGH POINT, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2022) – Business High Point’s Young Professionals group will host the 2022 YP Summit presented by Jones & Peacock Insurance on Nov. 17, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the Loft at Congdon Yards.

The first summit since the pandemic, this event will offer a dive deep into developing young professionals and their personal brands. Attendees will hear from other young professionals on balancing work, life and play and discover the resources available to them in our community.

This year's summit will feature keynote presentation, “Developing Your Brand: Reaching a Higher Point in Your Personal & Brand Development,” from High Point University’s Vice President of Student Affairs Bill Gentry, Ph.D. Additionally, four local young professionals talk about how they maintain a balance of work, life and play in a panel discussion. Panelists include Congdon Family Foundation Executive Director Megan Oglesby, Captivate Media President and CEO Justin Thompson, owner of The Blooming Board Brandi Crumley and owner of Q’s Corner Candace Hayes.
Local businesses will be highlighted in the Local Business Spotlight Tour. Attendees will visit tables of local businesses in High Point and learn more about their products and services and how they lead in the community.

The event will conclude with a networking reception featuring raffle prizes, drinks, food and more.

The 2022 YP Summit is open to young professionals between 21 - 40 years old who live and/or work in High Point, N.C.
